The myth of Orpheus and Eurydike - one would have thought to know? Why was it always kind of confusing that Orpheus failed to free Eurydike? His love to her turned out to be weak. While Eurydike is loosing everything Orpheus rises up to the tragic hero.
The austrian author Barbara Neuwirth is a phantastic story-teller who looks into ancient topics time after time. She gives hints and answers to the questions about male men and the way they see themselves in transactions of total dominance. Therefore she also deals with the explanation of the female role.
